Hot day at the ball park

Hey, its Jake and Maggie .  We don’t have a dog park here in our little town, so instead our humans take us to the little league park.  There’s a lot of green grass, and some sand, and a fence so we can run free and play fetch.  Today Daisy went with us, but she doesn’t like to fetch, and she is a little scared of us.  Sometimes she has a “crack attack” and just runs around in figure 8s.  She was doing that today.    Old Jingles had to stay home, because she just can’t take the hot weather very well.  We ran and ran and ran, and then we plopped down in the cool shade on the sand.  It was really hot out there, but Mom remembered to bring us some water to drink.  Boy, we had a great time.

Here we are in left field

Thanks, Mom, for the nice cool water!

  10. What sweet babies! Thanks for visiting Mud and Coffee. I like your blog, and especially like the quotes you have on the left sidebar. Good stuff! Cooper is a 5-month Shichon (Shih-tzu, Bichon Frise mix). He asked to go outside most of the time yesterday, and we were in a friend’s house with a big dog–lots of excitement! I’m proud of my little guy.

  11. HUGE park!!! Fun x 100

  12. WOW that looks like great fun! Daisy is white like me, but much smaller!

  13. Thanks for stopping by. Love your blog; Maggie and Jake have really grown. Wow. It’s really a beautiful place to play.

  14. Hi Jake & Maggie – EmmaLou here – I wish my mom would take me to a ball field or the doggie park, but we just hang out and play with the tennis balls in the back yard alot. We like to lay on the couch and watch Animal Planet, too and we get into trouble alot, but that’s what it’s all about. When I’m really good, I get Reddi-Whip right out of the can! Cool! My mom says thanks for stopping by her blog. Now get outta the sun and take a nap! Cya!

  15. Hot or cold fun is fun and it sure looks like everyone had fun.
Isn’t fun the best thing to have?
Great photos I really like the header image, they are growing like crazy.

  16. Very VERY cute dogs. We have labs too. Are these two related? We had black and yellow sisters. Still have the yellow one but she’s getting up there and is sick. Will have to be put to rest soon. It’s just really hard to make that phone call.

    • Thanks Joy! Jake and Maggie are littermates, born March 5th. Sorry to hear about your yellow. We have a Jack Russell who’s nearly 14 and will be facing a similar situation with her in the coming months.

      Thanks for stopping by.

  17. We have 2 dog parks close to us. But we go to the smaller one Because Maya is still a little scared of other dogs. Mostly the little ones. Who knows why. Thanks for stopping by and checking out our blogs. I posted a couple of new ones. That ball feild sure does look like lots of room to run. the dog parks are small comparred to that. I would rather be there!!!BOL

  18. Very cool – I wish we had a place like that to go here, but the little league fields are always locked when they’re not in use, and they say that dogs are prohibited. 😦
